Nutrition, Accessibility & Eat to Thrive

Steve’s life changed dramatically in 2012 when he suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side. Today, he navigates life as a wheelchair user while continuing to live with purpose, passion, and determination. Our Guest: Steve Norton

Steve Norton is an author, speaker, coach, and advocate for living well with a disability.

His professional background includes experience in the hospitality and event-planning industries, but his life took an unexpected turn in 2012 when he experienced a stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side.

Today, Steve is a wheelchair user who has transformed that experience into a mission of educating, empowering, and enhancing the lives of others—particularly people navigating disability, chronic illness, or aging in place.

He produces accessible cooking videos and teaches adaptive cooking classes focused on nutritious, plant-forward meals designed to be practical for people with mobility or dexterity challenges.

Through his speaking, coaching, cooking education, and writing, Steve shares a message rooted in lived experience: adversity may change your story, but it doesn't have to end it.
